City of Memphis Office of Business and Diversity & Compliance

The Office of Business Diversity & Compliance is committed to creating an environment where minority- owned business enterprises (MBE), woman-owned business enterprises (WBE), and small business enterprises (SBE) can fairly pursue and compete for city contracting opportunities. Certification with the City of Memphis provides SMWBEs access to many opportunities with the City, quasi-government agencies, and other non-governmental agencies.

The Mid-South Minority Business Continuum

The MMBC Continuum is an economic accelerator for stage II Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (M/WBEs) that successfully connects diverse suppliers with the Mid-South’s largest corporations.

Memphis Area Minority Contractors Association

Memphis Area Minority Contractors Association (MAMCA) is a non-profit trade organization, which specializes in helping small and minority contractors. MAMCA offers training classes, mentorships, and hands on skills to people that are interested in becoming contractors.
